Furthermore, it analyzes recruitment strategies of the tetrrorist organization, particularly their distributed online magazines Dabiq and Rumiyah.To help understand the large number of muhajirat from the West, this thesis will investigate into which factors affect women's radicalization process. Therefore, first the motivating factors for the emigration will be examined. Furthermore, the advanced recruitment strategy through which ISIS indoctrinates potential members will be analyzed. The thesis will argue that recruitment is an important aspect of radicalization, because it directly connects with the motivating factors of the individuals and frames the perspective of the affected women. The combination of the motivating factors and the recruitment will lead to the finalizing of the radicalization process. Understanding the connection between the recruitment and the motivating factors will in turn aid to draw implications for policy advice on effective counter-terrorism measures. Hence, my research question is: To what extent does the recruitment strategy of the Islamic State foster the radicalization process of Western women to join the Caliphate?

Development of new failure criteria requires deep insight into the existing failure theories. This work provides a brief outlook on the existing failure criteria such as Tsai-Hill, Tsai-Wu, Hashin-Rotem, Hashin, Rotem, Edge, Sun and Puck. The failure predictability of these failure criteria have been assessed by comparing with the commonly used failure criteria such as Maximum Stress and Maximum strain criteria and experimental data.For this purpose failure envelopes have been generated, considering the case of a wind turbine blade. For constructing failure envelopes C++ programs have been written. In connection with the above analysis software with two modules using Visual Basic as front end and Microsoft Access as back end has been developed. First module of this software is meant for generating lamina failure envelopes using the above mentioned failure criteria. It also has the facility of comparing these failure criteria with commonly used failure criteria such as Maximum Stress and Maximum Strain failure criteria and experimental data. The literature dealing with general partner selection criteria is rich. Only a little research was, however, conducted in terms of emerging economies. Therefore, the study combines a theoretical model with an empirical evidence to extend knowledge in this particular area. The literature review results in four main partner selection criteria, such as human resources (tangible resources), local market knowledge (intangible resources) as well as business and governmental networks. An empirical research was conducted through qualitative interviews to challenge the theoretical findings. The sample consisted of two leading Austrian manufacturing companies operating a joint venture in India. Although those participants confirmed that local market knowledge and networks are crucial on emerging markets, they accommodate different perspective in terms of tangible resources. Moreover, they add that company control and local partner's international experience are fundamental.

The methods combine mutation analysis with model checking techniques to generate tests to systematically check for safety properties. We generated two categories of tests to check system safety properties from complementary perspective, which are safety passing and failing tests. A set of safety coverage criteria are defined to evaluate the tests. To show the feasibility of our method, we developed a tool kit and applied our method to a sample specification. We automatically generated tests and evaluated the tests with our safety coverage criteria and also on a Java implementation.

One, human capital theory, contends that variation in economic attainment is a product of different characteristics of individuals. Is there a necessity for revision of reference values (inflation and deficit) of the Maastricht monetary convergence criteria by considering the equilibrium characteristics of new, catching up member-states? Drawing on governmental documents and reports issued by the IMF, EBRD, Bulgarian Agency for Economic Analysis and Forecasting, Bulgarian and Hungarian National Bank and interviews with former and present governmental officials and respected scholars, this work argues that the existing Balassa- Samuelson (BS) effect in the catching-up transition economies frustrates the possibility for compliance with the Maastricht monetary convergence criteria necessary for EMU membership. The study recommends the Maastricht criteria to be defined in reference to the average inflation rate of the euro zone (the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices, HICP), not the three EU members with the lowest inflation rate.

Thus the appearance of scattered tree dominated fertile patches in generally nutrient-poor savanna grassland is an interesting phenomenon. As trees alter structural and spatial variability of the environment they increase floral and faunal diversity. Under favourable conditions such patches may increase in size until they merge with each other and a closed canopy forest builds up. However, in dry areas successive invasion into grassland is blocked and there is little spread outwards.Research was conducted from September 2005 to January 2006 in the Western Soutpansberg, South Africa. For Mimusops zeyheri and Syzygium legatii effects of shade and seed size on germination and seedling recruitment have been investigated in plant pot experiments. Two field experiments were conducted investigating seed predation and the effect of competition. One through a sample of 40 participants, which are either current employees or current candidates looking for work, by filling out a 10 item questionnaire. Another was through semi-structured interviews that were used to get insight from interviewing two employers from within the Human Resources and Marketing department of different organisations. Results revealed that the questionnaire participants felt that even though that certain social media networks can be beneficial, it can have its considerable disadvantages. Meanwhile, the interviewees felt that social media is a valuable supplement, while online recruiting is basically the nature of modern recruiting, even when it might not be used for all types of jobs and may not always make candidates seem as they are on their online persona.

The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of traditional circumcision on the male adolescents' personality and their academic performance in Nandi North District.The study was conducted in the secondary schools within the district. The researcher targeted form three male students who formed a target population of one thousand six hundred and eighty (1680). The district had a total of thirty- five (35) district secondary schools. The researcher purposively sampled twelve schools (two each from the six (6) educational divisions in the district) from which a total of five hundred and five (505) subjects formed a sample population. The researcher used two different types of instruments to collect data, a questionnaire and two interview schedules. The former was administered on students while the latter were used on teachers and key resource persons. The questionnaire was piloted in one school, which was not among sample schools before being administered to the real sample. The pre-testing helped to ascertain the reliability and validity of the instrument.

By means of a survey, the extent to which social media platforms are already being used by headhunters, in particular in their search for executives for the German fashion business, is investigated.
