Third Party Logistics (TPL or 3PL) are the talk of the day; businesses are constantly looking for ways and means outsource majority of their non-core operations for a much professional look on the same, to gain cost advantage, and of course, to have a greater focus to the core-operations. In the similar context, 3PL activities are gaining momentum. However, the Arab states seem to have been left behind in this race. This research aims at finding out the level of 3PL activities existing in the Arab world today, with particular focus on the case of Jordan. Therefore, the ultimate aim of this research is to analyze and understand the level of logistics outsourcing prevailing in Jordan today, and the extent to which it is viable in the future. The economy of Jordan heavily relies on exports, mainly constituting of manufacturing concerns. This essay intents primarily to analyse and compare the approaches of English1 and German Law to third party rights arising from bilateral contracts, particularly with regard to contracts for the benefit of a third party and the new Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. It focuses on the impact co-branding could have on the brand image and on the Chinese people's brand perception, as factors influencing the luxury goods consumption. The study also identifies the keys of a successful luxury co-branding strategy in China. For the purpose of the investigations, the impact of co-branding on Chinese consumers was measured by using both quantitative and qualitative research. A survey permitted to have a direct access to how Chinese luxury shoppers will react to co-branding strategy and it will influence or not their consumption of luxury goods. Experts' interviews were able to reach a wider view of the feasibility of co-branding within the Chinese luxury market. The study has various distinctive features. Previously there has been no meaningful research on the relationship between personality traits and consumer behaviour variables. Most previous studies were directed towards establishing a relationship between individual personality traits and buying behaviour or to predict sales of expensive items such as automobiles, in which personality was not the only influencing factor. Moreover, almost all of the earlier work on personality traits and consumer decision-making, was targeted at the study of products not services. In contrast, the current study was aimed at ‘usage’ behaviour rather than ‘buying’ behaviour; and building the conceptual framework on services rather than products. Using two studies [(N=987 for Mobile Phone Services) & (N=288 for Credit Card Services)], consistent support was found for the effects of personality traits on customer loyalty, satisfaction and switching patterns among mobile phone and credit card users.

We have long known that it began when Deng emerged as China’s preeminent leader and launched the era of reform and opening, but we have known little about the 34-day Party Work Conference that started on November 10 1978. We have also known little about what went on behind the scenes at the Third Plenum (of the 11th Party Congress) that began immediately after, on December 18.“Fortunately for historians, in 1998 on the 20th anniversary of these events, one of the last remaining key participants in these meetings, Yu Guangyuan, then age 83, wrote a book describing the background and the contents [of both meetings]. To achieve this, a comprehensive analysis was undertaken regarding the development of Microfinance as an economic tool, and the relevance of SMEs to the achievement of widespread economic empowerment and the alleviation of poverty in Nigeria. Aside from conventional banking services such as the acceptance of deposits and provision of credit, findings from primary research disclosed that the provision of capacity building and other supportive services were designated by the CBN as necessary for adequate development of SMEs. However information on the existence of some of these service or information regarding the measures of success experienced by SMEs in terms of growth through access to these services were difficult to ascertain. Therefore, a secondary research was undertaken on twenty-one (21) MFBs and forty-eight (48) SMEs all based in FCT Abuja, Nigeria with the aim of investigating the factors surrounding the rendering of capacity building and other core microfinance services as prescribed by the CBN.
